GRESSONEY IN SUMMER

Gressoney is the perfect destination for walkers, hikers and climbers.
Right in front of Residence Oberteil starts the path which leads to the 17th Century Walser villages of Alpenzu Piccolo, Hobalte and Alpenzu Grande, where both architecture and landscape are frozen in time.
A large number of paths, of a wide variety of lengths and difficulty, allow you to discover the wonders of our mountains, teeming with chamois, ibex and marmots.
Alpine guides (www.guidemonterosa.com and www.guidemonterosa.info) offer a variety of guided ascents to discover the peaks and the mountain refuges of Mont Rose, as well as treks lasting several days such as the Tour del Monte Rosa.
Nature guides also have a varied program of excursions to discover the local flora and fauna.
A hundred yards from Residence Oberteil you can find the wonderful climbing route (via ferrata) next to the church, together with the children’s climbing route.
And for those who don’t want to huff and puff, the cable cars are open in summer too.
